At the last True Grit event in Leeds, The Regime – along with JC himself – were blindsided by three previously banned True Grit alumni.
I’m not allowed to say much more (I am just a lowly digital marketer on JC’s payroll, after all), but JC – True Grit owner James Carr – had this to say:
“I regret to inform you there was an unfortunate incident at The True Grit Games involving wrestlers that are no longer part of True Grit Wrestling. I do not wish to comment further on this at this time, but rest assured we will continue to deliver the outstanding shows that you are all used to. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to see if I’m ok.”
Whatever went down, it has the entire True Grit community talking – and you can bet this isn’t the last we’ll hear about it.
