True Grit Wrestling enters a new chapter this winter as True Grit TV returns – bigger, bolder, and ready to put UK wrestling back on the global map. After speaking with owner James Carr, it is obvious his vision has never been more clear.
JC says the mission has been the same since day one: a weekly UK-based wrestling show built with pride, grit, and proper storytelling. True Grit tested this format during the 2022 relaunch, but the partnership with Triller TV now gives the brand the platform and resources it deserves.
A British Take on Weekly Wrestling TV
JC explained what sets True Grit apart. If the US scene is bright lights and blockbuster polish, TGW leans into something different. It taps into the spirit of UK cinema – gritty, emotional, grounded, and layered with ironic British humour.
TGTV promises matches that hit hard featuring wrestlers that you love (and hate); along with their trials, tribulations and fueds. A weekly show allows us to go deeper into the passion, the talent, and the edge that defines UK wrestling today.
The First True Grit TV Taping – Be There Live
The road to this new era begins Saturday 13th December at Millthorpe School in York for Road To The Rumble. This event will host the first taping of the new True Grit TV, and the fans in the building will appear across the first three episodes of the relaunch.

Release schedule on Triller+:
- Episode 1: Saturday 20th December 2025
- Episode 2: Saturday 27th December 2025
- Episode 3: Saturday 3rd January 2026
These episodes roll out in the lead-up to the huge True Grit Rumble at Left Bank, Leeds on Saturday, 10 January 2026.

James Carr says this weekly series is the start of something big. It is a chance to showcase UK wrestling with a fresh voice and bring back the intensity and attitude that once made the scene unmissable.
