After shocking the crowd by joining The Regime, and becoming owner JC’s lap dog Joey Slade sat down with True Grit Club members for a live Ask Me Anything in the Discord. It was bold. It was loud. It was obnoxious. It was very, very Joey.
Once beloved as the cheeky underdog, Joey’s recent betrayal has left fans torn. Some called him brave. Others… less polite. But in true Slade fashion, he didn’t dodge a single question. He talked openly about why he turned on the fans, what it means to stand with JC, and whether he still sees himself as a hero at all.
Since aligning with The Regime, Joey’s loyalty has been put to the test in painful fashion. He’s already faced two of his former Hellbound teammates – first Harley Harris, and most recently David Grant at Wrestlefest, in one of the most emotionally charged bouts we’ve seen all year.
